Chesed Projects

Newly Formed Social Action Committee

A newly formed Social Action Committee met in May. Please contact Bev Kissel if you are interested in participating. They are considering new ideas and new projects. Projects with the teens from Sanctuary House, the Midnight Run and elderly in the Bronx will continue.

Next Board Meeting

The next Board meeting will be Tuesday, Nov 14,
at 8:00 pm at the home of Esther Mildner

Board of Trustees meetings are generally scheduled for the second Tuesday of the month.
Shabbat morning services
Our regular Shabbat morning services are held at 9:00AM at Temple Beth Shalom, 740 Broadway in Hastings in the large classroom on the lower level.  Because of Bar & Bat Mitzvahs taking place there simultaneously, PLEASE park on side streets and Broadway and NOT in the parking lot. THANKS!

Scheduled Dates

On shabbat
 October 21, the Nebel family
will be celebrating the aufruf of their daughter Rebecca to Cory Sivakoff. The family will be sponsoring the kiddush in honor of the occasion.

Friday night dinner and shabbat service on November 17 with student cantor Anna Chapman (from JTS) will be held at the D.F. Women's Club. Our guest cantor will also be with us for regular shabbat morning services on November 18. More information will be posted.
